1. Who we are

Dose Up Limited (company number 17357340), registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”), is the controller of your personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Dose Up is an exam preparation platform for UK pharmacy students. For any privacy query, contact us at support@dose-up.co.uk.

2. What we collect

Account: name, email address, and password (stored securely via AWS Cognito).
Usage: quiz attempts, scores, study progress, and your chats with Dosey, our AI study assistant.
Payment: processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
Technical: browser type, device information, and IP address, used for security and analytics.

Please do not enter sensitive personal information (for example, about your own health) into your chats with Dosey.

Providing your account and payment details is necessary for us to provide the platform and perform our contract with you; without them, we cannot give you access.

3. How we use your data, and our legal basis

Providing and personalising the platform, managing your account, and processing payments — to perform our contract with you.
Keeping the platform secure, and improving our content and services — our legitimate interests (you can object at any time).
Any marketing and non-essential cookies — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Keeping records we are required by law to keep, such as for tax — legal obligation.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with:

AWS: hosting, authentication, and database.
Anthropic: powers Dosey; your conversations generate responses but are not used to train its models.
Stripe: to process payments.
Plausible and Microsoft Clarity: website analytics. Clarity runs only on our public pages and only if you accept analytics cookies.
Google and Meta: where you accept attribution, we share a click identifier and whether a click led to a sign-up, so we can measure our advertising.
Authorities or third parties where required by law, and a buyer if we sell the business (your data stays subject to this policy).

5. Where your data is stored, and international transfers

We store your account and platform data on AWS servers in the UK.

Dosey is powered by Anthropic. Where your Dosey conversations are processed outside the UK, we protect that transfer with a safeguard recognised under UK data protection law — the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Where you accept analytics or attribution cookies, some data may also be processed outside the UK by providers such as Microsoft (Clarity) and our advertising platform. We rely on the same UK-recognised safeguards for those transfers. Contact support@dose-up.co.uk for details.

6. How long we keep it

Account, quiz, and chat data: kept while your account is active, then deleted or anonymised after your account is closed.
Payment and transaction records: six years, as required by tax and accounting law.

You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time, subject to any records we are required by law to keep.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or provide a portable copy of your data, or to restrict or stop processing it, and you can withdraw any consent at any time. Email support@dose-up.co.uk— it is free and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), though we would welcome the chance to help first.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We set non-essential cookies only with your consent. See our Cookie Policy for details.
